Google Stadia to close on January 18
Long ago, Google's own cloud gaming service 'Google Stadia' was announced. The technology giant has announced the final date. Google Stadia is closing from January 18. News The Verge.
A beta version of Google Stadia was unveiled in October 2018. The full version of the service was introduced the following year.
Google is refunding all Stadia hardware purchased through the Google Store, as well as all games and software purchased from the Stadia Store. This refund process started last November. Google expects to return most of the money by January 18.
Google launched the service keeping in mind the growing popularity of cloud gaming. However, the technology giant is forced to stop the service due to lack of response as expected.
